1-3-Squaw Sessions Teen Ski and Snowboard Camp
Squaw Sessions Teen Ski and Snowboard Camp, Squaw Valley USA offers this holiday period camp to teens with a focus on the origins of the freeride movement and sharpening skills for mastering terrain parks and big mountain skiing or riding. 3- Snowshoe Running Clinic
Showshoe Running Clinic, Northstar-at-Tahoe from 10 am to noon at the Cross Country, Telemark & Snowshoe Center at mid-mountain. $25 includes trail pass and instruction. Snowshoe rentals available. Purchase tickets online, over the phone or at the Cross Country Center. Ski Sugar Bowl to Benefit Tahoe Women’s Services. Tahoe Women’s Services invites all skiers and snowboarders to ski Sugar Bowl Ski Resort for $25 on Saturday, January 11, 2009. With 1,000 tickets available and 100 percent of proceeds to benefit the only agency providing support for domestic violence ans sexual assault programs in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee region, this is a tremendous opportunity to support a great local cause. 5-Handel’s Messiah Performance in Incline Village
7:30 pm TOCCATA – The Orchestra and Community Choral Artists of the Tahoe Area – will perform Handel’s Messiah at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church in Incline Village as a celebration of Epiphany and TOCCATA’s 3rd season.
